Granny is a first-person horror escape game with a simple premise—get out of the house in five days without getting caught. It's not flashy, but it doesn't need to be. The game uses tight spaces, moody lighting, and eerie sounds to build tension. Every step you take has to be careful, quiet, and quick.

The controls are basic and work well enough for mobile. You can crouch, hide, pick up objects, and interact with items around the house. It's not overly complicated, which suits the stripped-back design of the game. Most of your time will be spent sneaking around, solving small puzzles, and opening locks. But that never feels dull. The real focus is the constant pressure of being hunted.

Granny's AI is unpredictable. She responds to sound. Drop something, and you'll hear her footsteps start coming. She moves faster than you'd expect for a game like this. And the sound design—door creaks, floor groans, distant footsteps—makes everything work.

The house layout remains unchanged, but there is some variation in where items spawn, keeping each playthrough slightly different. You'll need to explore hidden areas, such as basement rooms and attic spaces, and crawl through vents. Every item serves a purpose—tools like a hammer or a cutting plier help you escape. Nothing feels like filler.

This game doesn't hold your hand. There are no tutorials, dialogue, or hints—just silence and fear. That minimalism works for it. You're forced to figure it out under pressure, making success feel all the more earned.

Granny's appearance is simple—she wears a grey gown, has blood on the bat, and has cloudy eyes—but she's genuinely creepy. It works when she pops out from nowhere or peeks under the bed. The jump scares aren't cheap; they're part of the design.

Each attempt feels like a timed challenge, pushing you to adapt and move rapidly. Memorizing the layout, finding the quickest paths, and knowing how Granny reacts all become part of your strategy.

The simplicity of its design means every playthrough feels focused. It doesn’t overwhelm you with distractions or side content—it sticks to the core experience of evasion, tension, and resourcefulness. That focus is what gives it a lasting edge.

How to Play?

Step 1: Open the game and choose your difficulty level. If this is your first time, start with Easy. This gives you more days to escape and makes Granny slower.

Step 2: You wake up in a locked room. Walk around using the joystick and look for anything that might help you escape—drawers, cabinets, shelves. Open everything. Items like keys, pliers, or hammers can be hidden anywhere.

Step 3: Be quiet. Granny hears everything. If you knock something over or step on a creaky floorboard, she’ll come after you. If you hear her cane tapping, hide under the bed or inside a wardrobe fast.

Step 4: Focus on the main door. It has several locks. You'll need tools such as a padlock key, cutting pliers, a hammer, and the correct code to open it. You can only carry one item at a time, so remember where you drop things.

Step 5: Explore each floor, including the basement and attic. Some doors need special keys. Keep checking new places and be ready to hide often. Time matters—you only get five days.

Step 6: Use the tools in the right places. Hammer breaks wooden planks, pliers cut wires and keys unlock things. Sometimes, you'll need to drop an item to make a distraction.

Step 7: Once all locks are removed, exit through the front door. If Granny catches you five times, the game ends. But if you're careful, quiet, and remember where everything is, you'll be able to escape.
