Royal Match is a match-3 puzzle game centered around restoring a colorful, animated kingdom ruled by King Robert. No backstory drags on—just straight into puzzles. The game skips the luff and starts with simple boards that build up to more challenging layouts. The goal is to complete objectives at each level, such as collecting specific pieces or removing blocks. You get boosts, power-ups, and in-level help if you create combinations like four or five tiles in a row.
There is no storyline with talking characters or lengthy text boxes. You're just solving levels to slowly rebuild a royal palace. The background changes every few levels, and new parts of the kingdom get decorated as you progress. King Robert occasionally walks around waving or getting excited when you complete sections of the palace. It's visually smooth and colorful without being chaotic and moves at a fast pace. Animations are snappy, and there's little delay between actions.
Royal Match is a little different because it doesn't have ads between levels. You play, finish a round, and move to the next without interruption. The experience is smoother because of it. You can also join teams, which unlock extra rewards and help you earn lives faster. Team events and co-op competitions frequently appear, providing structure beyond the regular levels.
Special in-game events, such as firework rounds or treasure hunts, pop up regularly. These events offer bonus coins, boosters, and sometimes new animations or tiles. Offline play works for most of the main game, making it easy to use during short breaks or traveling. The mix of main levels, bonus rounds, and kingdom upgrades keeps the pace steady without feeling overwhelming.
Step 1: Open the Royal Match app and tap “Play” on the home screen. You’ll see King Robert in trouble or relaxing—your job is to complete puzzle levels to help him move forward in his journey.
Step 2: Each level has a specific goal, such as collecting colored blocks, removing chains, or breaking glass tiles. You're given a limited number of moves to hit that target. Always check the goal at the top before you start matching.
Step 3: Match at least three blocks of the same color in a row or column to clear them. Matching four or five blocks creates power-ups, such as Rockets (clear rows or columns), TNT (which explodes a small area), and Light Balls (which clear all blocks of a single color).
Step 4: Combine power-ups by matching them next to each other. A Rocket plus TNT clears a bigger area. A Light Ball and Rocket combo turns all blocks of that color into Rockets, removing much more.
Step 5: Save your best moves for the last part of the level. Don’t waste power-ups early unless you need to clear a tricky block or obstacle.
Step 6: After beating levels, you earn stars. Use stars to unlock rooms and decorate King Robert’s castle. You’ll also get coins that can buy extra moves or lives if needed.
Step 7: Lives refill over time, but you can request lives from teammates if you're part of a team. Join early to receive rewards and support during challenging levels.
